Cherina has been teaching at Niagara College since 2015. She graduated Brock University with a Bachelor's in Physical Education (Honors). She also earned a diploma in the post graduate program at Niagara College in Exercise Science for Health and Performance. She has taught into courses such as anatomy, resistance training and physical education.

Joel Huard is an Exercise Physiologist at Cleveland Clinic Canada and a Lab Instructor at Niagara College. Joel enjoys working closely with his patients to perform fitness assessments and provide personalized exercise plans, counselling and education to help them reach their health and wellness goals.
Joel completed his Bachelor of Kinesiology from Acadia University in Nova Scotia. He went on to complete a Graduate Diploma in Exercise Science for Health and Performance from Niagara College. He has since trained in areas including cancer rehab techniques, mental health first aid, functional movement screen and emotional intelligence.
Joel is dedicated to learning the latest science in his field, including modifications to help with chronic conditions such as cancer, SCI, and cardiovascular diseases. In his practice, he combines strength and conditioning, cardiorespiratory fitness, and flexibility assessments to create highly customized plans for his patients.
Andrey is a recent graduate of our ESHP program who has attained his CSEP-CEP, and now practices as an Exercise Physiologist. His multi-sport background and coaching experience in the sport of swimming has led him on a journey of human performance in exercise and sport science. Andrey works with the Canadian Sport Institute Ontario supporting athletes and teams through transdisciplinary services. When Andrey is not working with individuals towards maximizing performance, you can find him running trails with his dog, working out, or catching up on sports.
Michael Di Benedetto graduated from Niagara College with a diploma in Fitness and Health Promotion in 2014. He earned his BA of Physical Education from Brock University in 2019. Michael has over 8 years of personal training experience. He optioned his YMCA Canada National trainer designation in 2022 and runs a variety of certification courses for Group Fitness and Personal Training.
